Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. Also in attendance, by some bizarre twist of fate, was Paul Anderson, the notorious Vienna- and Budapest-based American Nazi organizer. (No, I'm not kidding, nor do I suppose he'd even find it a slur, not that I care, as he once handed me a New Order business card with a swastika on it.)
He wasn't actually part of our party (of course), but he sitting at a table with some woman on the downstairs level of the Csiga, smoking a pipe and wearing a three-piece suit for the first half of our event. Perhaps it wasn't merely a coincidence, as he is something of a media freak and had made surprise appearances to Budapest week's offices before, back in the day.
